Safety Officer required for a construction company

Duties and responsibilities: The role is responsible for monitoring and implementation of the Occupational Health & Safety plan; compliance of the construction activity with safety standards and Occupational Health & Safety guidelines; conducting regular inspections of construction sites; reporting and resolving issues; identifying and stopping unsafe activities WITH THE OBJECTIVE OF ensuring compliance of the assigned project to the Company’s Occupational Health & Safety framework, regulatory requirements and contractual obligations while minimizing health & safety related risks

Requirements: Degree in Occupational Safety & Health, Environmental Engineering, Civil / Building Engineering or related discipline. With at least 5 years’ experience in main contractors. Must be a registered safety officer and safety auditor for at least 6 months, as well as member of the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health or equivalent.
