In partnership with the CEO and as a key member of the executive team, as the Chief Quality Officer, you will be responsible for providing strategic guidance and leadership in the integration of quality, safeguarding, and practice across the organisation. This role will also be part of influencing the sector and driving positive change.

You will be responsible for strategic oversight, leadership, and continuous improvement of quality and compliance across the organisation's disability and aged care services in partnership with the COO for Disability and Aging, while championing the voice of clients. Critical to your success in this role will be your ability to implement best practice quality frameworks, ensuring the highest standards of care, safety, and regulatory compliance, while fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and person-centered care. You will have a pivotal role in collaborating across the organisation to align organisational practices with industry standards and regulatory requirements, supporting the operational teams to deliver measurable improvements in the quality, safety, efficiency, and effectiveness of services across the organisation.

Recognised as an experienced health leader with a demonstrated track record of leading quality, compliance, and practice functions across aligned health service environments, including disability, aged care, public health, and hospitals, will be essential. You will bring experience in disability and/or aged care legislation, including successfully managing large audits and accreditation with regulatory bodies. You will have experience successfully embedding a culture of continuous improvement leading quality improvement initiatives that enhance care outcomes for service delivery within complex multisite environments.

You are highly regarded for your strategic leadership ability to effectively lead through reform and transformation environments while driving a culture of safety and continuous improvement across an organisation. Additionally, you are comfortable leading through change and have delivered change management and continuous improvement initiatives across quality and practice at an enterprise level. Demonstrated experience working effectively at the executive and board level will be critical to your success in this role.
