Location, Boksburg, East Rand, Advertised By Private, Job Type Contract. We are a 10 year old established IT Company looking for junior and senior IT Support Representatives on the East Rand.

As an IT Support Representative employee, you’ll be monitoring and maintaining the computer systems and networks for our customers in a technical support role. Tasks can include installing and configuring computer/server systems, diagnosing hardware/software faults and solving technical problems, either remotely, over the phone or face to face.

Most importantly, as businesses cannot afford to be without the whole system, or individual workstations, for more than the minimum time taken to repair or replace them, your technical support is vital to the ongoing operational efficiency of our customers.

Some tasks you may be involved in include: Working with customers to identify IT problems and implementing the solution. Logging and keeping records of customer queries. Analysing call logs so you can spot common trends and underlying problems. Updating self-help documents so customers can try to fix problems themselves. Visit customers to attend to faults. Testing and fixing faulty equipment

Candidate requirements: Minimum MCSE and/or MCITP qualification. Minimum 3 years experience in Microsoft Desktop and Server Support with contactable references. Drivers license with own reliable transport. Excellent communication and admin skills. Must be willing to travel and study
