Role, Responsibilities & Person Specification
Department: Customer Operations
Reports to: Service Assurance & Process Development Manager
Key Purpose of the Role:
To manage business and residential orders through the customer delivery process
Principal Responsibilities:
To validate all orders received from sales pipeline, ensuring all orders fulfill the minimum prerequisites and include signed contract paperwork.
Deal with exceptional orders with the relevant departments in a timely manner.
Ensure timely communication with customers with regards to their queries
Manage exceptional orders within agreed SLA’s.
Manage order pipeline ensuring that orders are delivered with SLA.
Co-ordinate installations with Field Operations and customers.
Manage customer churn ensuring services are cancelled on time and third party circuits are cancelled.
Deal with queries both from internal and external customers.
Provide feedback to Process Development Manager in relation to areas for automation/ further efficiencies
Person Specification:
Essential Skills & Experience (key competencies)
Experience
Previous experience in a telecoms environment is essential
Experience of working in a team based environment
Must be able to work on own initiative
Experience in relation to LLU, Bitstream and WLR process is essential
Skills
Must possess strong organisational skills
Computer literate and proficient in the MS office suite, especially in Excel & Outlook
Experience with Salesforce application is desirable but not essential
The ideal candidate must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Training/Certification
A third level qualification in any discipline or 5 years in a similar role
