Salary: $22.50 Hourly for 40 hours per week

Education: Completion of college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Horticulturist Trade Certification
Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years

Area of Specialization: Tree and shrub examination and treatment, Growth of ornamental plants, Lawn and garden maintenance, Hydroponic culture, Horticulture product sales, Hedge and shrub pruning, Horticultural consulting, Plant knowledge and identification, Propagation, Tree pruning
Type of Landscaping Experience: Residential projects, Commercial/industrial construction, Park and recreation sites, Public gardens, Golf courses
Construction Skills: Rock gardens, Stone garden walls, Interlocking brick, Irrigation systems, Retaining walls
