Senior Procurement Specialist

The VCAN Group Inc. is seeking a Senior Procurement Specialist for a contract opportunity with our Federal Government client in Ottawa, Ontario.

The details are as follows: Role: Senior Procurement Specialist, Duration: 1 X240, Option(s): 1 X240, Language: Bilingual, Security Clearance Required: SECRET

The successful candidate must have: must hold a current, valid security screening at the level of SECRET, must be fluent in English and French both written and verbally, must have delivered at least 2 procurement related training sessions.  At least 1 of the training sessions must have been in French or bilingual, at least 10 years experience providing procurement services for complex procurements for the acquisition of IT Professional Services in Government of Canada, Procurement servicesare defined and must include the development of all of the following: statements of work and; evaluation criteria and; Procurement initiation documents such as but not limited to employer/employee relationship attestations, security requirement checklist, requisitions, etc

Requests for proposal: Complex procurementis defined as the procurement being subject to at least three (3) of the following: Trade Agreements, Legislation, Contracting rules, policy and/or regulations; Departmental and/or organizational policies and/or procedures; Value of the procurement is $2M or above

The successful candidate should: experience providing advice and guidance to clients and senior level management on the development of statements of work and evaluation criteria for procurements solicited using TBIPS. Senior Level Management is defined as Managers, EX-01 and above experience providing advice and guidance to clients on the development of statements of work and evaluation criteria for the following vehicles.

THS, TSPS, TBIPS

Electronic Bidding-Buy and Sell experience developing training materials and delivering training to clients on the development of the following  documents required to intiate a procurement process:

Statement of Work development, Evaluation criteria development, Contract request forms, Security Requirement Checklist, Company Name The VCAN Group Inc.
