BreastScreen Victoria is part of the national breast cancer screening program inviting women aged 50 to 69 to have free screening mammograms every two years. BreastScreen Victoria aims to reduce deaths from breast cancer through early detection of the disease.
An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced radiographer to work with BreastScreen Victoria’s Mobile Screening Service (MSS). As a Mobile Radiographer, you will assist BreastScreen Victoria deliver screening services to women living in isolated areas throughout the outer urban fringes of Melbourne as well as more remote areas of rural Victoria.
We are seeking a highly motivated person who is able to work as part of a close knit team, with a commitment to high quality radiographic practice and who enjoys working with a diverse group of women. As this position is based away from the BreastScreen Victoria Coordination Unit, the successful applicant must be able to work autonomously and with initiative.
