Overview of Position: The role of the Information Systems Unit is to assist with technical issues relating to the CPSU IT Network Systems, applications, servers, printers, telephony and other IT related equipment. The Helpdesk Coordinator provides support to CPSU staff nationally on all IT matters and works closely with other staff in the Information Services Team (ISU) to ensure the ISU priorities and objectives are met. The right candidate will have highly developed technical skills, a can do attitude and excellent communication skills.
Position Responsibilities: Helpdesk: answer staff enquiries in relation to all IT related matters, log, update, prioritise, problem solve, follow-up and escalate support incidents, research solutions to solve issues and problems that are not routine matters, respond promptly and professionally to ensure all matters have been satisfactorily completed
Other Duties: after hours work will be required, coordinate projects, roster systems maintenance work, including after hours, other duties or projects assigned by the Information Services Unit Director
Essential: Demonstrated experience in IT support roles with a high quality service focus, High level of accuracy and attention to detail, Extensive technical knowledge and work experience with, Window Server 2008, Window Server 2012, Exchange Server 2010, Microsoft Office 2010, Windows scripting, Active Directory, Demonstrated experience generating and analysing various statistical reports, High level verbal communication and interpersonal skills, Demonstrated analytical thinking and problem solving skills, Ability to plan and organise work and achieve outcomes, Ability to work semi-autonomously, demonstrate initiative, drive and resilience in a changing environment, Well developed written communication skills
