Team Leader – Hr Administration, Salary: R459k pa, Park town / Johannesburg

Applications are invited for the position of Team Leader – HR Administrator in the RMA Human Resources Department.

Core purpose of the Job:- To manage the HR administration function and to provide generalist HR support to the company and all business units.

Remuneration: Conduct research and analysis in different areas involving compensation, such as compensation statistics and market analysis. Conducting position evaluations, job classifications, assessing the budgetary impact of compensation decisions and providing oversight of compliance with regulations and labor laws. To collaborate with others to determine staffing needs, design and adjust salary structures and compensation packages and develop policies and procedures.

Applicants should have the following:-

Qualifications and Skills: Relevant B degree or NQF 6 equivalent qualification, Certified Compensation Specialist, Knowledge of Direct Remuneration, Knowledge of Job Evaluation System/s, Knowledge of Human Resources Systems, Knowledge of culture, PowerPoint and facilitation skills

Experience: 5 or more years’ experience in a similar role

Duties: Remuneration and Benefits, Management of HR Administration, HR Administration - overseeing of all HR Administration work (e.g., new recruits, induction packs, terminations, exit interviews, Sentinel, medical aid, funeral, scanning documents into HR Premier etc.), Management of the Remuneration Strategy, Implementation and Adherence, Being able to demonstrate ability, proficiency

knowledge and understanding to: Implementation of an effective rewards strategy which represents an appropriate return on investment and successfully attracts, retains and motivates the right people for the business. Implement, develop and manage remuneration process and provide advice and guidance as required in terms of the Remuneration packages. Proactively keep up-to-date with related People/Human Capital and business issues and initiatives that may impact on the reward strategy. Track the implementation of the remuneration and benefits strategy. Execute and Manage Remuneration and Benefits Surveys

Being able to demonstrate ability, proficiency, knowledge and understanding to: Keep abreast with remuneration benchmarks and “Best Practices”. Manages rewards in all pay Review/Bonus activities; providing data reports and manage the data input requirements. Support the Business with the development and implementation of new systems e.g. flexible benefits systems as required. Contribute towards the determination of the annual increases prior to the annual salary reviews. Implement salary increases and incentive payments with zero errors.  Thereafter the schedules to be audited and signed off by Internal Auditors. Manage and ensure the execution of annual salary surveys. Build an effective network with key contracts inside and outside the company. Job Grading and Job Evaluation. Being able to demonstrate ability, proficiency, knowledge and understanding to: Ensure the adherence to the company Job Grading and Job Evaluation procedures. Set up and management of the Job Grading and Job Evaluation Committee. Management of Job Grading and Job Evaluation execution and post evaluation General: Provide basic consultancy and advisory service to management and staff on all generalist HR related queries. Advise line managers on the Remuneration Strategy and Policy. Reviewing and bettering of all process and documentation and policies and procedures relating to reward and administration. Maintain manager’s tool kit. Coaching and up-skilling of line managers and staff with regards to HR services and Employee Value Chain. Build and maintain very good stakeholder relationships. Record keeping too be up to date on HR Premier and other tracking systems. Maintain a High Level of Customer Service. Compile monthly audit and risk report. Compile ad hoc reports when required. Undertake projects associated with human resources – generalist functions as required by the department.
