Second Cook
Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time, Shift, Weekend, Day, Evening
Salary: $14.50 to $14.75 Hourly for 40 hours per week, Gratuities, Medical Benefits, Dental Benefits
Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible

Skill Requirements:
Education: Completion of high school, Completion of college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): 1st Period Apprentice, 2nd Period Apprentice, 3rd Period Apprentice
Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years
Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English
Cook Categories: Second cook
Work Setting: Hotel
Specific Skills: Prepare and cook full course meals, Prepare and cook individual dishes and foods, Prepare and cook special meals for patients as instructed by dietitian or chef, Plan menus, Estimate food requirements and costs, Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment, Clean kitchen and work areas, Organize and manage buffets and banquets
Other Information:Completion of a 3 year apprenticeship program OR Completion of Collage or other program cooking OR Several Years of commercial cooking experience
