Oil Burner Mechanic
Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time
Salary: $2,450.00 Weekly for 60 hours per week
Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible
Location: Iqaluit, Nunavut (2 vacancies )
Skill Requirements:
Education: Completion of high school, Completion of college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Oil Burner Mechanic (Residential) Red Seal Certificate
Experience: 5 years or more
Major Work Area: Installation, Maintenance, Repair, Testing, Service
Type of Establishment Experience: Residential, Commercial
Type of Heating System: Oil, Wood, Coal
Type of Equipment: Burners, Motors, Pumps, Control devices
Specific Skills: Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning oil burners, Lay out and assemble oil burner heating system components, Test

installed units and adjust controls for proper functioning, Perform scheduled maintenance and service
Additional Skills: Read and interpret blueprints and drawings, Instruct apprentices
Security and Safety: Bondable, Basic security clearance, Criminal record check, Driver's validity license check
Transportation/Travel Information: Valid driver's licence, Vehicle supplied by employer
Languages: English
