Developmental service worker
Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time, Day
Salary: $12.50 to $13.08 Hourly for 35 hours per week, Dental Benefits, Group Insurance Benefits
Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible

Skill Requirements:
Education: Completion of high school
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Non-violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) Certificate, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Certificate, First Aid Certificate
Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English
Work Setting: Social service agency
Target Groups or Clients: Male, Female, Persons who are blind/visually impaired, Persons with intellectual disabilities, Persons with physical disabilities, Persons with mental health disabilities
Type of Community or Social Service: Education or training
Specific Skills: Appraise clients' needs or eligibility for specific services, Implement life skills workshops, Assess client's relevant skill strengths and development needs, Conduct follow-up assessments, Provide personal services support to persons with special needs
Additional Skills: Sign language
