Water Well Driller (Large Diameter Reverse Circulation Driller)
Terms of Employment: Temporary, Full Time
Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible
Location: Project Site - Baffin Island, Nunavut (2 vacancies)
Skill Requirements:
Education: Completion of high school
Credentials (certificates, licenses, memberships, courses, etc.): Not required
Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years
Type of Equipment: Mobile water well drilling rigs, Well casings
Area of Specialization: Reverse circulation drilling
Specific Skills: Drill, bore and dig for water wells, Install well screens, casings and other well fixtures, Perform routine maintenance work on water well drilling rigs and equipment, Install, test, maintain and repair piping systems
Additional Skills: Instruct apprentices
Security and Safety: Basic security clearance, Criminal record check, Driver's validity license check
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Physically demanding, Attention to detail, Hand-eye co-ordination, standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, kneeling
Work Site Environment: Outdoors
Transportation/Travel Information: Willing to travel
