Job Details: Manages the product portfolio (on time, and under budget), including product concept and requirements, positioning and story development, marketing material development, training plan development and price recommendation Creates launch plan and leads the launch process Integrates market insights from market organizations and idea generation results (input from Category Manager)Manages interface with Operations during product development, launch process and life cycle management Identifies need and develops request for market research projects Challenges story written by communications manager and is the defender of product story during launch. Translating market needs into competitive product requirements, ensuring customer, end-user and market insights are taken into account in product portfolio (ideas, concepts and final product) Manages complexity and product life cycle of portfolio Working effectively with Operations and Sales during product development (e.g., feasibility review meetings) Supporting successful launches of new products Supporting Sales to build sustainable sales after launch.
