Medical Practice Manager, Fourways, Johannesburg. Company Name: Fourways Hospital. A medical practice manager at Fourways Life Hospital is required.
This role includes the following main responsibilities: To greet the guests at reception and assisting with preparation procedures before seeing the Gynae. To co-ordinate the daily appointments and theater bookings by allocating the time accordingly. To record all guests & treatment details for the data base. Answering of the phone and emails, scheduling of appointments. Assist the guests in their treatment & explain the treatment procedures.
Suggest and promote retail products or additional services. Strive to achieve the highest standards through continuous communication with patients. To ensure that hygiene standards are adhered to at all times & disinfecting the surfaces & equipment between appointments as per laid down standards & procedures. To ensure that the practice is neat, clean & tidy at all times & help in retaining the aesthetic beauty of the same. Acknowledge and respond to relevant patient queries, needs and expectations.
Accurate monthly stock taking. Communication with medical aid partners on behalf of the Dr and Patients. Allocating paymentsv to patient profiles. Folowing up on invoices overdue and advising patients of any changes in the practice. Screen and direct phone calls and distribute correspondence. Handle requests and queries appropriately. Manage diary and schedule meetings and appointments. Make travel arrangements and preparation ofr Visa applications
Take dictation of letters, referrals and medical reports and minutes. Source office supplies. Produce reports, presentations and briefs regarding the practice's finances and client base. Devise and maintain office filing system.
Requirements: Should have own vehicle or stay in and around Fourways area. A nursing experience is preffered, if not nursing exceptional book keeping and customer service skills will be ocnsidered. Previous experience as a receptionist – advantageous. Previous experience within a medical practice. Excellent customer service orientation. Genuine interest and passion for wellness. Ability to multitask and prioritize daily workload. Excellent verbal and written communications skills. Discretion and confidentiality.
