Cleaning supervisor (PEI)
Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time, Weekend, Day, Night, Evening
Salary: $28,000.00 Yearly for 40 hours per week
Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible
Location: Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island (1 vacancy)
Skill Requirements:
Education: Completion of high school, Completion of college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): WHMIS (workplace hazardous material information system)
Experience: Experience an asset
Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English
Work Setting: Office building, Commercial facility
Supervisory Experience: Light duty cleaners, Specialized cleaners
Specific Skills: Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers, Inspect sites or facilities to ensure safety and cleanliness standards, Prepare work schedules, Assist cleaners in performing duties
Additional Skills: Hire and train or arrange for training of cleaning staff
Security and Safety: Bondable, Criminal record check (abstract), Driving record check (abstract)
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilites: Fast-paced environment, Work under pressure, Tight deadlines, Physically demanding, Shift work
Ability to Supervise: 11-15 people
Essential Skills: Oral communication, Working with others, Problem solving, Decision making, Critical thinking, Job task planning and organizing, Significant use of memory, Computer use
Other Information:- Evaluating sites - Hiring & assisting in cleaner training (working with a head cleaners help) - Measuring for new contracts - There will be some cleaning
