Terms of Employment: Seasonal, Full Time, Day
Salary: $11.00 Hourly for 35 hours per week, Mileage Paid

Skill Requirements:
Education: Some high school
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Red Cross Swimming Instructor/Life Saving Certificate, First Aid Certificate, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Certificate, Water Safety Instructor (WSI), Lifesaving Bronze Medallion, Lifesaving Bronze Cross, National Lifeguard Service (NLS) Certificate
Experience: No experience
Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English
Recreational Concentration: Aquatics
Type of Clients: All ages
Work Setting: Swimming pool/centre, Outdoor centre
Activity Focus: Leading/instructing individuals, Leading/instructing groups, Patrolling/supervising activities
Specific Skills: Demonstrate and instruct athletic, fitness or sports activities and techniques, Understand principles of group dynamics, Schedule activities
Additional Skills: Provide emergency or first aid assistance, Ensure safety of rescuers and victims at accident scenes, Prepare reports, Maintain and repair sports equipment, Keep logs and maintain records
Transportation/Travel Information: Valid driver's licence, Own vehicle, Willing to travel, Willing to travel regularly, Travel expenses paid by employer, Public transportation is not available
Work Location Information: Rural community, Various locations
Ability to Supervise: 11-15 people
Work Site Environment: Outdoors, Wet/damp, In/on water, Noisy
