Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Group Fitness Instructor who can lead high-energy fitness classes with a focus on boxing for fitness, strength, and conditioning. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and able to inspire participants of all fitness levels.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and conduct group fitness classes that incorporate basic boxing techniques and strength & conditioning exercises. Provide clear instructions and demonstrations for all exercises and routines. Adapt exercises to accommodate various fitness levels and individual needs. Create a positive and motivating atmosphere in the classroom. Ensure the safety and well-being of all participants by monitoring proper form and technique. Offer feedback and encouragement to help participants improve. Maintain a clean, organised, and safe workout environment. Stay current with fitness trends and continue professional development.
Qualifications: Certification from a recognised fitness organisation (group 3 fitness instructor). Experience in leading group fitness classes, preferably with a focus on boxing with strength & conditioning. Basic knowledge of boxing techniques and training methods. Strong understanding of exercise physiology and body mechanics. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to motivate and energise participants.
CPR and AED qualifications: Preferred Skills. Experience with diverse fitness formats (e.g., HIIT, circuit training). Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Basic boxing skills.
