Long Haul Truck Driver
Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time, Shift, Weekend, Day, Night, Evening
Salary: $4,500.00 Monthly for 60 hours per week, Mileage Paid, Medical Benefits, Life Insurance Benefits
Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible
Location: Winnipeg and Area, Manitoba (6 vacancies )
Skill Requirements:
Education: Some high school
Credentials (certificates, licenses, memberships, courses, etc.): Driver's License (Class 1 or A), Air Brake (Z) Endorsement
Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year
Type of Trucking and Equipment: Tractor-trailer, Flatbed, Van, Refrigerated
Type of Travel: Long-haul, National, International
Documentation Knowledge: Driver logbook, Bill of lading, Inspection report (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip)
Communication Equipment Experience: Cellular phone
Weight Handling: Up to 9 kg (20 lbs)
Specific Skills: Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy
Security and Safety: Criminal record check, Driving record check (abstract)
Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots, Hard hat
Transportation/Travel Information: Own transportation
Essential Skills: Reading text, Writing, Communication
Languages: English
