Plumbers supervisor (Operations Manager)
Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time, On Call, Overtime, Day

Skill Requirements:
Education: Completion of high school, Completion of college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Gas Fitter Trade Certification, Plumber Trade Certification, Plumber Red Seal Certificate, WHMIS, Driver's License, Provincial Gas Fitter Licence
Experience: Experience an asset
Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English
Human Resources Responsibility: 1 - 5
Workers Supervised: Plumbers, Apprentices, Trades helpers, Labourers
Major Work Area: Maintenance, Repair, Service
Type of Establishment/Work Setting Experience: Commercial, Residential, Independently owned business, Mechanical and service company
Specific Skills: Supervise workers and projects, Co-ordinate and schedule activities, Train or arrange for training, Recommend staffing actions, Ensure adherence to safety standards
Additional Skills: Prepare production and other reports, Oversee apprenticeship training
Security and Safety: Basic security clearance, Criminal record check
Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots, Hard hat, Safety glasses/goggles
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Work under pressure
Work Site Environment: Outdoors, Noisy
Transportation/Travel Information: Valid driver's licence
Ability to Supervise: 10 people or less
