Reach Truck Operator
Terms of Employment: Temporary, Full Time, Day
Salary: $12.00 Hourly for 40 hours per week
Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible
Location: Halifax, Nova Scotia (2 vacancies )
Skill Requirements:
Education: Completion of high school, Not applicable
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Forklift Operator Certification
Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
Work Setting: Warehouse
Vehicle and Equipment Experience: Industrial lift trucks and forklifts, Reach trucks
Weight Handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
Specific Skills: Load, unload and move products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment, Operate a variety of equipment to load, unload and move materials and products, Pick orders and stock, Weigh materials and goods, Wrap goods, Pack and unpack goods, Crate goods, Transport and distribute materials and goods, Maintain and organize inventory
Additional Skills: Build pallets, Ship orders
Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Repetitive tasks, Physically demanding, Manual dexterity, Attention to detail, Hand-eye co-ordination
Transportation/Travel Information: Valid driver's licence
