Carpenter. BFL Construction Inc. Location: 4437 Venables St, Burnaby, BC. Salary: 35.00 hourly / 40 hours per week. Full-time. Start as soon as possible. Languages: English. Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Experience 2 years to less than 3 years. Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

Responsibilities: Read blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements. Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools. Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials. Prepare tenders and quotations. Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems. Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware. Maintain, repair, and renovate residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants, and other establishments.

Additional information Work conditions and physical capabilities: bending, crouching, and kneeling. Combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
