We have a permanent, full-time second-class welder/submerged arc welder position available for a reliable worker with a strong work ethic to undertake assembly and process work within our Perth facility.
Whilst a mechanical and/or heavy-labor background is valued, applicants with a keen interest in welding, particularly MIG and submerged arc welding, are strongly encouraged to apply. Applicants with limited welding experience will be considered. As a second-class welder/submerged arc welder, you are critical to our production and play an important role in maintaining Maskill's reputation as Australia's leading specialist in the field of mining-class undercarriage manufacturing, repairs, and refurbishment.
Essential requirements for the positions: Previous experience with hot work (MIG welding, submerged arc welding, and oxy cutting) (limited experience will be considered). Ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening. The applicant must have the right to work in Australia.
Desirable requirements for the positions: Hold a valid WA driver's license and have reliable transport. Hold a current WA forklift (LF) license and have recent operating experience. The standard hours for the roles are 6:00am to 4:30pm Monday to Friday, with additional hours as required. Pay and conditions will be discussed with shortlisted applicants.
