Administration Officer. ISLPR Language Services Pty Ltd., Mount Gravatt, Brisbane, QLD. Administrative Assistants (Administration & Office Support). Full-time. $25–$30 per hour.

About the role: We are looking for a highly organized and efficient Administration Coordinator (Team Lead) to join our team at ISLPR Language Services Pty Ltd in Mount Gravatt, QLD. This full-time role will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure the smooth running of our office.

Hours: 38 hours per week, Monday-Friday.

Starting date: Immediately on a 12-month contract. You will be the first point of contact in our small but very busy office. Your primary duties will be to liaise with clients and organize schedules (most of whom have limited English). You will require patience, a strong work ethic, a friendly personality, and an openness to learning new skills where necessary.

Working in a small team environment, your key roles include but are not limited to general reception duties, including answering incoming calls, taking messages, and redirecting calls as required; and responding to email inquiries. Diary management and arranging appointments, including room hire for interstate and overseas testing.

Data entry: Coordination of IGAC and moderation—being the point of contact for all interstate and overseas inquiries. General office management, such as ordering stationery. Providing administration support to directors and testers. Overseeing and managing the duties of administration assistants.

Information dissemination to all relevant staff. Processing of mail (i.e., posting results and checking the PO Box regularly). Administrators are required to use a variety of software packages, including the full Microsoft Suite (e.g., Access, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Teams) and MYOB.

To be successful in this role, you must possess the following skills: Excellent communication skills. Professional and polite phone manner. Attention to detail, reliable, and punctual. Working knowledge of MS Office Suite (ideally including SharePoint, Excel, and Access Database). Prior experience with MYOB, in particular recording sales invoices and payments. Ability to show initiative and contribute as a member of our team but also happy to work autonomously. Ability to interact with persons with limited English.
