Our client, a market leader in financial markets that provides a diverse range of products and services to individual investors, institutions, and private businesses, requires the services of a market-oriented professional to join their settlements team in asset transfers on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

This is the perfect opportunity for an individual with 3 plus years of back office experience in wealth management to join a great brand and cement themselves in a team and culture that pride themselves on the quality of their service to the clients and their focus on process improvement.

Our client is keen to meet with candidates who are highly client/team focused, organized, have a high attention to detail, can work autonomously, have a strong equity markets and operational knowledge base, and broker-to-broker transfers/sponsorship and off-market transfers and reconciliations.

The role will require the successful candidate to respond to all incoming queries in a professional and timely manner and process asset transfers across domestic and international equities, managed funds, and domestic and international fixed income and bonds. The client does have the capacity to train and develop their staff on all systems but is keen to meet candidates with a strong experience base in equity transfers.

To be successful, our client is ideally looking for applicants who have 3+ years in back office operations in broking, have strong verbal and written communication skills, have intermediate to advanced skills on Excel and Word, have the ability to build and maintain established relationships, have a keen interest in the Australian share market, and have a proactive and team-focused mindset.
