Job Summary: We are seeking a highly experienced Head of Accounts & Finance to oversee the full spectrum of financial and accounting functions for our factory operations in Bahrain. The ideal candidate must be a Chartered Accountant (CA) with extensive knowledge of VAT, taxation, audit management, and financial investments. This role requires a strategic thinker who can provide financial insights, ensure compliance, and contribute to the company’s financial growth.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial & Accounting Management

Oversee the entire accounting function, including bookkeeping, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.

Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards.

Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and cash flow.

Prepare and analyze financial statements, balance sheets, and profit & loss reports.

2. Taxation & VAT Compliance

Ensure timely and accurate VAT filings as per Bahrain’s tax regulations.

Keep up to date with changes in local tax laws and ensure compliance.

Provide tax planning strategies to optimize tax liabilities.

3. Audit & Compliance

Handle internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with financial policies.

Liaise with auditors, tax authorities, and regulatory bodies.

Implement internal controls to prevent fraud and financial mismanagement.

4. Factory & Operations Finance Management

Oversee cost control, budgeting, and financial planning for factory operations.

Analyze production costs and operational expenses to improve profitability.

Ensure the efficient utilization of financial resources within the factory.

5. Investment & Financial Advisory

Provide strategic financial advice to senior management on investments and financial growth opportunities.

Assess financial risks and suggest investment strategies for long-term business stability.

Manage company assets and optimize returns on investment.

6. Leadership & Team Management

Lead and mentor the accounting team to enhance their skills and efficiency.

Develop financial policies and procedures to improve the department's performance.

Work closely with other department heads for seamless financial operations.

Requirements:

Must be a Chartered Accountant (CA).

Minimum 10 years of experience in accounting, finance, and factory financial management.

Strong knowledge of Bahrain VAT laws, taxation, and auditing standards.

Experience in investment advisory and financial planning.

Proficient in ERP systems and accounting software.

Strong analytical, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and decision-making abilities.
