As the People & Culture Advisor, you will play a crucial role in supporting our managers and teams across multiple venues. Working closely with our People and Culture Business Partner, you’ll provide HR advice, drive recruitment initiatives, deliver, and foster a culture where our people feel valued and supported.

Your key responsibilities: General HR tasks. Onboarding and executing of contracts through HR Platform; Oversee employee engagement initiatives, including recognition programs and wellbeing strategies; Support the implementation and improvement of HR policies and procedures; Assist with development plans; Provide Award (HIGA) interpretation and advice to management where required; Manage the lodgement process and ongoing administration of RTW claims; Assist the People and Culture Business Partner with performance management of staff, providing advice to wider management team; Effectively managing employee queries.

Recruitment: Work closely with Management teams to design and manage recruitment and selection processes (resume screening, screening calls, interviews, etc.) Provide advice on remuneration and benefits  Build long-term relationships with past and potential candidates; Work closely with marketing team to develop creative ways for addressing talent acquisition challenges; Suggest new ideas for improving talent acquisition activities; Drive staff retention initiativesincluding managing the VISA process, development and coordination our apprenticeship and internal leadership programs, and Complete ad-hoc administrative tasks related to VISA enquiries.

About You: We’re looking for an HR professional who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and understands the unique challenges of the hospitality industry. You’ll be a confident communicator, a problem solver, and someone who can build strong relationships across all levels of the business. Tertiary qualification in Human Resources or a related discipline preferred but not essential;  Minimum 2 years’ experience in a HR Coordinator position or similar; Previous recruitment and talent management experience highly irable.  Experience in Hospitality or FMCG industries preferred; Return to Work Coordinator certified or willing to obtain; and Strong knowledge of Fair Work legislation, NES, and Award interpretation.
