Fabrication Operator, Job Type: Temp-to-Hire. Location: Tulsa, OK. Pay: $16–$18 per hour (based on experience).  Shift differential: additional 11.5% on all hours worked. Shift: Friday–Sunday, 6:00 AM–6:00 PM.

A Tulsa-based company is seeking a fabrication operator to join their team at a climate-controlled facility specializing in the production of sheet metal components. This position involves the operation of various fabrication equipment and tools to support production processes.

Essential Functions: Utilize saws and drills to mill, tap, sand, cut, deburr, and grind metal parts.

Work with parts coming from the laser operator’s table and prepare them for the next phase of production.

Requirements: Must have industrial saw experience. Minimum 2 years of fabrication experience in an industrial setting. Proficient in the use of hand grinders, belt sanders, and measuring tools (e.g., tape measures). Experience operating industrial machinery and equipment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to precision. Skilled in using hand and power tools. Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations. Must be team-oriented and self-sufficient.

Physical Demands & Work Environment: This is a safety-sensitive position, involving tasks that directly impact the safety and health of the employee and others.

Duties include handling and transporting hazardous materials. Operating vehicles, machinery, and power tools. Monitoring and maintaining critical infrastructure and systems. Working with volatile, flammable, or hazardous components.

Additional physical requirements: frequent standing, bending, squatting, and climbing throughout the shift. Must be able to lift and carry parts weighing up to 50 lbs, often without mechanical assistance. Work may involve confined spaces and tight work areas.
