Location: Mine Sites (Projects). Are you ready to take on a pivotal role within a growing team in the mining and construction industry? Hawkins Group is a leading mining construction company with offices in Mackay and Brisbane. We are seeking experienced construction managers, site engineers, and project engineers to join our team delivering mining construction projects across Central and North Queensland.

About You: Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field (trade qualification would be advantageous). Proven experience in site or project engineering roles, preferably on mining construction or defense projects. Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and NCC. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Proficiency in project management software (P6 or MS Project).

Key Roles & Responsibilities: Oversee and coordinate construction activities. Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards. Coordinate work crews. Quality Assurance. Monitor project progress and prepare detailed reports, including weekly reports. Troubleshoot and resolve engineering issues promptly. Assist in planning, scheduling, and budgeting processes.
