The IT Support Assistant will assist with the maintenance of the company’s computer systems and networks, helping to ensure smooth and efficient operation across the organization. This entry-level position will involve troubleshooting basic issues, supporting daily operations, and learning from more experienced IT staff.

Assist with installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners. Help monitor and maintain computer systems and networks. Respond to basic service issues and requests under supervision. Provide support and guidance to company staff in the use of various technologies. Assist with setting up accounts for new users and managing login credentials. Help with inventory management of IT equipment and supplies. Participate in testing and evaluating new technology under guidance.

Experience: Prior experience in IT support or a similar role is beneficial but not required. Hands-on experience with Windows and/or macOS environments is preferred.

Skills: Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Familiarity with internet security and data privacy principles is advantageous. Comfortable using a variety of operating systems and software applications. Ability to follow instructions and collaborate with team members.

Working conditions: in-office role with occasional need to visit other locations within the company. May involve lifting of moderately heavy items, such as computers and printers.
