About the Role: We are seeking a Technical Warehouse Assistant based in a national office and distribution facility based in East Tamaki, Auckland. This facility provides full support to our franchise network and original equipment manufacturing customers. The key function of our facility is on-time product supply and distribution across the country, including hose assembly, testing, and certification.

About the Role Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, your key responsibilities will include: General warehouse duties. Container unloading and inwards goods receipting. Stock replenishment and cyclic stocktakes. Quality control checks. Hydraulic & industrial hose assembly. Hose testing and certification. Stock picking & packing. Customer service. Preparing freight bookings.

What We’re Looking For A positive, can-do attitude and strong work ethic. Good verbal and written communication skills. Self-motivation with a keen eye for detail. Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines. Effective time management and organisational skills. A mechanical or technical aptitude. Confidence using computers and warehouse systems. A mature, professional approach. Willingness to learn and grow within the role. Knowledge of NZ workplace health & safety requirements. Ability to work well in a busy, close-knit team. A clean manual/auto driver’s license.

Hours, Location, and Duration: Monday to Friday standard business hours, 40 hours per week. This is a permanent, full-time role. Previous experience within the hose and fitting industry is preferred but not essential. Product and business processes training will be provided, and further career opportunities may exist. After-hours availability may be required, along with some flexibility around working hours.

Having a forklift license is preferable, and as some heavy lifting is required, an appropriate level of fitness is necessary.

Wages will be subject to experience and will be negotiated with the successful applicant.
