Main Duties: Managing the smooth-running operations of our liquor stores to the highest standards.

Creating and enhancing our teams customer service ethos, imparting your liquor industry knowledge in the crucial areas of customer service, product display and management, team building, and marketing implementation. Assisting other local sites with the management needs of satellite stores. Liaise with the team business coach in relation to any retail operational matters. Monitoring defined human resource management policies and procedures.

Responsible for all retail staff. Preparing displays and presenting stock, including specials and ticket writing. Ensuring that staff are informed of day-to-day duties. Pricing of stock and maintaining stock control. Picking stock for internal transfers. Maintain the cellar or liquor store in good order with a high standard of cleanliness. Monitoring defined staff presentation and grooming standards. Other incidental and peripheral duties as requested by management.

Experience required: Proven working experience in retail sales. Strong understanding of sales principles and customer service practices. Solid communication and interpersonal skills. Customer service focus: friendly, helpful, confident, and engaging personality. Basic administration skills.

Approximately 45 hours per week are expected in this salaried hands-on position and will include weekends and evening work.
