Your Role: Support the Early Childhood Regulatory Authority by consistently and fairly applying relevant early childhood education and care (ECEC) legislation, standards, policies, and guidelines in the regulation of the ECEC sector within the context of the Regulating for Quality policy.
Develop and maintain collaborative working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including regional offices, central office teams, and ECEC providers and services, to achieve regulatory outcomes.
The Senior Regulatory Officer reports to the Manager, Regulation, in each regional office, Early Childhood Regulatory Authority, Early Childhood Branch, Early Childhood and State Schools Division.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Consistently and fairly applying relevant early childhood education and care (ECEC) legislation, standards, policies, and guidelines in the regulation of the ECEC sector within the context of the Regulating for Quality policy. This may be carried out through monitoring, investigations, and assessment of applications and notifications, as required.
Conduct assessments and ratings of education and care services across Queensland. Develop and maintain collaborative working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including regional offices and ECEC providers and services, to achieve regulatory outcomes.
Mandatory requirements: Blue Card. Driver license.
About You: The successful applicant will be an individual with experience in or the ability to quickly learn ECEC sector regulation, assessment, and rating. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical, decision-making, and exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to manage risk, prioritize tasks, and work collaboratively with different stakeholders.
