About the role: We are on the lookout for several network engineers who can work towards our strategic direction for the development across a range of platforms, including enterprise LAN/WAN, wireless, and gateway network solutions and infrastructure in a large-scale, complex, and distributed business environment.

Expectation of Working Hours: Flexible work hours can be expected to meet the demand of the delivery, with after-hours (possibly weekend) deployment and implementation.

Responsibilities: Complex solutioning LAN/WAN design and concepts. Large-scale installation/implementation of switches and routers and their configuration. Routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, MPLS), STP, LACP, QoS, BFD, virtual routing instances, and routing policies. Firewalls and security policies. Prioritizing, QOS, load balancing and managing data flows, VPNs, and securing network devices. Design and deployment of SDWAN. Network gateway experience is advantageous.

Carrier-grade platform IP MPLS/BGP-based networks to provide Layer 2 and 3 services.

Skills and experience: an in-depth understanding and hands-on experience with network architectures, routing, switching, and associated technologies. Demonstrate implementation skills, creative problem solving, strategic planning, and advanced communication skills. Able to implement and deploy network changes to production network systems, working both independently and with an operations team, as the situation requires.

Engage with all project stakeholders as peers and test their decisions when necessary to provide them with the best outcome. Experience of delivering work to agreed performance standards, whether autonomously or as a part of a team or a leader of a team. Hold a current security clearance to work on federal agencies (NV1 or NV2) projects.
