We are seeking a Registered (Div 1) Practice Nurse with a Nurse Immuniser qualification for our Frankston clinic with a minimum of 2 years experience in Community Health or Primary Care. The role is a permanent part-time position—36.5 hours per week (less hours negotiable).

First Peoples’ Health and Wellbeing is a not-for-profit Aboriginal Community-Controlled health service delivering trauma-informed, culturally safe primary care and mental health care services. You will be working with a supportive team of nurses, allied health professionals, general practitioners, and medical administration officers who are passionate about providing health services to First Nations people.

About the role: Our practice nurses deliver culturally safe, high-quality clinical services and patient care in a warm and welcoming environment. The role is responsible for providing direct clinical services, including screening, treatment, conducting health assessments, creating care plans, assisting with procedures, and providing immunizations. You will contribute to a culturally safe environment and assist in maintaining AGPAL accreditation of the clinic. This role is also required to provide medical administration support, such as triaging clients and taking phone calls.
