Estimator, Construction. Home Craft Siding and Soffits Ltd. Location: Surrey, BC. Salary: $38.50 hourly / 35 hours per week. Full-time. Starts as soon as possible. Languages: English. Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years. Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

Responsibilities: Prepare estimates of labor and/or material costs. Provide economic feasibility studies and preliminary estimates for proposed projects. Create and submit estimate reports, quote sheets, and bid forms. Set up cost monitoring and reporting systems. Monitor and adjust contract expenditures. Prepare and maintain a directory of supplies and trade contractors. Liaise, consult, and communicate with engineers, architects, owners, contractors, and subcontractors on changes and adjustments to cost estimates. Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications.
