Plumber. VR Plus Construction Ltd. Location: 1788 Gilmore Ave, Burnaby, BC. Salary: $34.32 hourly / 40 hours per week. Full-time. Starts as soon as possible. Languages: English. Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years. Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

Responsibilities: Install domestic, commercial, or industrial plumbing fixtures and systems. Repair domestic, commercial, or industrial plumbing fixtures and systems. Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of the plumbing system, water supply network, and waste and drainage systems. Prepare tenders and quotations. Instruct apprentices. Locate and mark positions for pipe connections, passage holes, and fixtures in walls and floors. Cut openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipes and pipe fittings. Join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, or soldering, brazing, and welding equipment. Schedule personnel, tools, and equipment. Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges. Determine piping system requirements and pipe sizing. Supervise other workers. Estimate costs and materials. Operate CADD and other computer software systems. Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes to the required shape and size.
