Storeman and Delivery Driver. Central Welding and Industrial Supplies. Carrum Downs, Melbourne VIC. Warehousing, Storage and Distribution (Manufacturing, Transport and Logistics). Part time. $30 – $33 per hour. Due to business growth, we are seeking a reliable and motivated Storeman/Delivery Driver to join our team.

Role Overview: As a Storeman/Delivery Driver, you will play a key role in being responsible for warehouse operations and ensuring timely deliveries to our valued customers. This role requires a strong background in warehousing, logistics, and customer service.

Key Responsibilities: Receiving, inspecting, and storing incoming stock. Picking, packing, and dispatching orders accurately. Loading and delivering welding supplies to customers efficiently. Maintaining warehouse cleanliness and organization. Conducting stocktakes and assisting with inventory control. Ensuring all deliveries are completed in a timely and professional manner.

Liaising with customers and providing excellent service during deliveries. Operating warehouse equipment such as forklift.

Skills and Experience Required: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics (essential). Valid driver’s license (manual preferred). Forklift license (essential). Thorough understanding of inventory control (essential). Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently, under pressure and not require constant supervision. Outstanding communication and customer service skills. Ability to lift and move heavy items safely - you must be physically fit for this role. Strong computer skills, analytical skills for stock management.
