About the Opportunity: We are seeking an Experienced Light Vehicle Mechanic for a Permanent Full-Time opportunity, based at our new Atlas Midwest Mineral Sands Project. This role will entail preventative and breakdown maintenance on our onsite equipment. Working closely with other members of our Site Maintenance teams, these roles will report to the Maintenance Supervisors. Based 180km north of Perth, this is a fantastic Drive In / Drive Out, that can offer ongoing works.

About You: Demonstrated experience in more than one of the following: Light Vehicle, Forklift, Lighting Towers and Pump equipment repairs. 12 months post trade experience in a mining or civil engineering environment on large scale earthmoving equipment.

HRWL: CN, DG, RG & LF (Highly Regarded). Australian recognized Light Vehicle Trade Qualification. Current C Class Drivers Licence. Ability to work autonomously or as part of a team to complete jobs to a high standard. A proven commitment to, and compliance with site safety standards. Taking pride in your quality of work. Willingness to undertake a Pre-Employment Medical & Drug / Alcohol Screen. Ability to obtain a National Police Clearance (NPC) for site access requirements.

Responsibilities: Utilising your organizational skills to ensure you are stocked with the required parts & tools to undertake work on site. Complete scheduled repairs and maintenance of equipment in a safe and efficient manner using correct manual handling techniques. Perform diagnostics, problem solving, and fault finding accurately and in a timely manner. Strive for continuous improvement by identifying, interpreting and repair for reuse of any parts and accessories.

Effectively work and communicate with other team members & clients on site to prioritise tasks and achieve deadlines. Able to work self-sufficiently, part of a team, autonomously, and conduct works in a professional manner. Ability to meet deadlines whilst maintaining a strong approach to safety.
