Hairstylist. Sonu Hair Cut Ltd. Location: 235 Bastion Street Unit 102, Nanaimo, BC. Salary: 20.00 to 23.00 hourly (to be negotiated) / 40 hours per week. Full-time. Day, Weekend, Shift, Overtime, Morning. Starts as soon as possible. Languages: English. Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years. Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely. Work setting. Barbershop or hairstyling salon/studio.

Responsibilities: Book appointments. Cut and trim hair according to the client's instructions or preferences. Shampoo customers' hair. Shave and trim beards and mustaches. Provide other hair treatment, such as waving, straightening and tinting, and also provide scalp conditioning massages

Apply bleach, tints, dyes or rinses to colour, frost or streak hair. Apply hair extensions. Clean and style wigs and hairpieces. Cut, trim, taper, curl, wave, perm, and style hair. Suggest a hairstyle compatible with the client's physical features and preferences. Experience and specialization. Hair styling techniques. Blow drying. Hair braiding. Iron waving/curling. Permanents. Extensions. Relaxing. Spiking. Roller setting.
