McIntosh and Son dealership’s growth strategy now sees us looking to bring on an energetic, creative, driven, and competitive agricultural sales consultant to join our business. Reporting to our Branch Manager, your day-to-day responsibilities are:
Key Responsibilities: Identify businesses/customers with a requirement to purchase new and used agricultural and CASE construction machinery and equipment. Guide businesses/customers through their purchase, providing outstanding customer service as the face of McIntosh and Son. Account management inclusive of sales budgets in line with company targets and goals as they relate to customer satisfaction and profitability. Assist in ensuring a steady flow of inquiries from multiple channels through prospecting and marketing.
Maintain a specialist knowledge of brand machinery and options, participating in regular knowledge updates. Manage the machinery/equipment handover process, ensuring compliance with the process.
Responsible for sales planning, order routing, and other commercial back-office activities in cooperation with other members of the sales team. Monitoring customer and market trends along with the marketing team to develop effective marketing activities.
You will have account management skills and also be able to identify new opportunities, i.e., markets, clients, products, and services. Commercial awareness with a consultative sales approach. Proven knowledge of different sales techniques and pipeline management. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with strong negotiation skills. Good networking skills.
