Responsibilities: Inspect and test cable signals and associated equipment. Install and maintain aerial and underground telephone equipment. Read blueprints to determine work requirements. Test equipment to locate transmission faults. Climb and work aloft on poles, ladders, or other support structures. Install cable modems and software to enable Internet access. Maintain and repair aerial and underground transmission systems. Splice, join, and connect wires. Experience and specialization. Equipment and machinery experience. Fibre optics.
