This is an exciting opportunity for a senior maintenance officer to join our Tabbita Orchard maintenance team in one of Australia’s largest, most diverse, and inclusive agribusiness companies. About the role: We are looking for an enthusiastic self-starter who is motivated to apply strong mechanical knowledge and leadership skills in a dynamic workshop environment. This role will require prioritising and overseeing workshop activities as well as supporting and training the Junior Maintenance Officer. You will be flexible to be on call, as required, to carry out maintenance involved in shift work throughout harvest and seasonal periods. Overtime and weekend work is available in this role, if desired.

To be successful in this role, you will need a current driver’s license. Mechanical aptitude and knowledge (trade certificate not essential). Demonstrated experience in training and supervising employees. Demonstrated experience in maintaining and repairing farming plants and equipment. A proven track record in prioritising, managing, and adhering to a programmed maintenance schedule

Demonstrated experience using computer programs such as Excel and MEX to record and report maintenance activities. Demonstrated experience with metal fabrication, welding, oxy-acetylene, and lathe work as required to facilitate the above maintenance tasks. Strong attention and adherence to all company safety policies and procedures.
