We are looking for a dedicated collections officer to join our financial services team. The ideal candidate will have a knack for maintaining customer relationships while ensuring timely collection of payments.

Description: Manage and maintain a ledger of accounts to ensure prompt payment. Build strong rapport with clients, maintaining positive relationships while ensuring timely payment. Coordinate with the accounting & finance team to keep track of outstanding invoices. Utilize the system to accurately record payment plans and payment histories. Implement effective recovery strategies for overdue payments. Prepare reports detailing collection activity and accounts receivable status. Review client contracts to ensure compliance with payment terms and conditions. Resolve client billing issues in a professional manner.

Profile A successful Collections Officer should have: A solid understanding of billing procedures and collection techniques. Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with clients. A keen eye for details and a commitment to accuracy. The capacity to work independently and as part of the team. Qualification in finance, business administration or a similar field.
