Long Haul Truck Driver. JPS Trucking Ltd. Location Calgary, AB. Salary: 29.50 hourly/40 to 70 hours per week. Full time. Flexible Hours. Starts as soon as possible. Languages English. Education No degree, certificate or diploma. Experience Will train. Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

Responsibilities: Mountain driving expertise. Professionalism in customer service. Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy. Load and unload goods. Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials. Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment. Pay and receive payments for goods. Perform brake adjustments. Perform emergency roadside repairs. Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections and oversee all aspects of the vehicle. Perform preventive maintenance. Receive and relay information to central dispatch. Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption. Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo. Credentials. Certificates, licenses, memberships, and courses. Air Brake (Z) Endorsement. Driver's License (Class 1 or A).
