About Our Venue and Kitchen:

We are a local neighbourhood venue based in Meadow Springs, WA, 6210, just north of Mandurah. We opened just under 2 years ago, and we are busy and getting even busier! Our vibe is to provide the local neighbourhood with great coffee and a creative breakfast, brunch, or lunch menu on their doorsteps. We take great pride in prepping and making as much as possible in house, including all of our cold cabinet food and cakes/sweets. Our small kitchen is well organised and has a small team who are eager to learn and follow a new leader.

Key Responsibilities:

Kitchen Management: Oversee the daily operations of the kitchen, ensuring efficiency and smooth execution. Lead our small but dedicated team toward success.

Stock Control: Manage inventory, track stock levels, and minimize waste to optimize cost efficiency. Handle all stock ordering within budget and maintain tight control.

Recipe Costing: accurately calculate food costs to ensure profitability while maintaining high quality. Uphold our commitment to minimizing food waste in the kitchen.

Menu Development: Take full ownership of designing and implementing innovative, seasonal menus that align with customer preferences. Regularly introduce creative food specials.

Creativity: Infuse your unique vision and flair into our food offerings, from the main menu to the cold food cabinet, bringing fresh ideas to elevate the dining experience.

About You: Experience as a Head Chef or in a similar leadership role. Or a sous chef looking to take the step up! Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills. Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards, including relevant certificates and qualifications. Passion for creating high-quality, delicious food consistently.
