Our client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior End User Computing (EUC) Platform Engineer to join their dynamic team. This role is pivotal in providing advanced support and maintenance for end-user platforms, ensuring seamless operation and an exceptional user experience.

Key Responsibilities: Expertise & Leadership: Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the operation and maintenance of managed platforms. Lead the planning, design, architecture, integration, and implementation of new or upgraded platforms and technologies. Support & Management: Provide technical leadership in resolving incidents and problems within the end user services environment, ensuring service levels and system availability are met.

Mentorship: Coach and mentor team members, providing necessary training to IT teams.

Deployment & Maintenance: Oversee the packaging, testing, and deployment of end-user applications. Manage operating environments (physical or virtual), including vulnerability management, system patches, and upgrades.

Virtual Environments: Support and maintain virtual MOE environments, including Citrix Cloud Control Plan and on-premises Citrix infrastructure.

M365 Platform: Support the M365 Platform, including Exchange, Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint online.

Documentation: Create and maintain documentation related to the operation, maintenance, and support of the end-user computing environment.

Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with managed service providers and key stakeholders on end user computing incidents, service requests, and system lifecycle management.

Research & Recommendations: Conduct research and provide advice on technology trends, emerging technologies, service continuity, capacity planning, and solution evaluation.

Change Management: Implement best practices in change management, capacity planning, incident management, risk management, and continuity planning, preferably with ITIL framework experience.

Vision and Strategy: Contribute to the development of divisional strategy, aligning with the overarching vision and strategy. Drive cultural aspirations and behaviors, guiding members to and through retirement.

People & Culture: Build a high-performing, engaged team connected to the purpose, strategy, and culture. Role model key behaviors, ensuring a safe, inclusive, and healthy work environment.

Business Performance: Build strategic alliances and partnerships to execute business strategy. Drive integration, change, innovation, and continuous improvement initiatives. Ensure regular reporting and insights on progress against key priorities. Manage costs and external spend to balance effectiveness and efficiency.

Qualifications & Experience: Proven expertise in one or more of the following platforms: managed operating environment (MOE), virtualization, Microsoft 365, application packaging, and integration.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to maintain and upgrade end-user systems.

Excellent communication skills for leading major incident resolution and supporting root cause analysis. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field (desirable). Certification and understanding of contemporary IT frameworks and methodologies, including ITIL (desirable).
