Join the City of Moreton Bay as our Multimedia Communications Officer and deliver quality communications to inform and engage our growing community!

As part of our corporate communications team, we'll look to you to provide media and communications advice and work collaboratively with our diverse teams across the organisation to produce video and graphic content for communication channels including social media, websites, and external media.

You'll also: create and edit multimedia content for Council’s communications channels, primarily video content (but not limited to). Design communication tools that will help Council share project milestones and engage with our community. Provide solutions and advice to achieve positive media and communications outcomes in relation to messaging and videos. Develop concepts with departments to help them conceive graphics and animations to creatively illustrate their programs and initiatives.

About you: We are seeking an experienced video and graphic content producer, ready for a new challenge in 2025!

You'll be experienced in the Adobe Creative Suite, specifically video editing and animation software (Premiere and After Effects). Creating graphics used in animation and branding, specifically Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Blender 3D software. Operating video and sound recording equipment and the various technical aspects associated with this equipment. Creative filmmaking techniques, including framing, lighting, transitioning, and the creation of sequences. Stakeholder engagement to influence and direct to achieve the desired outcomes within tight time frames.
