Are you an enthusiastic and detail-oriented professional with a passion for planning and delivering unforgettable events? The prestigious Royal Perth Yacht Club (RPYC) is seeking an Events Coordinator to join our dedicated team and contribute to our exceptional event experiences.

About Us: Located on the scenic Swan River, RPYC is Western Australia’s premier yacht club with a rich history and vibrant membership community. We pride ourselves on hosting world-class sailing events, regattas, and a variety of social and corporate functions, providing an unparalleled experience for our members and guests.

About the Role: As the Events Coordinator, you’ll be at the heart of organizing and delivering a wide range of events that reflect our club's reputation for excellence. Reporting to the Events Manager, your key responsibilities will include:

Coordinating member events, corporate functions, weddings, and regattas from planning through to execution. Liaising with clients to understand their needs and ensure every detail is meticulously handled. Collaborating with internal departments, vendors, and suppliers to deliver seamless events.

Managing event budgets, timelines, and logistics. Assist in post-event evaluations and reporting to continually enhance the event experience.

About You: We’re looking for an energetic and organized individual who thrives in a dynamic environment and takes pride in delivering outstanding events.

The ideal candidate will have: Previous experience in event coordination, hospitality, or a related field. Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport with clients and stakeholders. The ability to stay calm under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances. Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required. A keen eye for detail and a commitment to creating exceptional guest experiences.
