Manual Machinist, Mig-Co Engineering. Naval Base, Perth WA. Fitters, Turners & Machinists (Trades & Services). Full time. $40-$50 per hour.

The Opportunity: We are seeking a competent, reliable manual machinist to join our expanding team, based in Naval Base, WA. You will be required to work well within a team environment as well as autonomously complete assigned work scopes. This is a long-term, permanent, full-time opportunity to work for a well-established and growing company. An attractive pay rate will be negotiated based on experience. Develop your skillset even further, with on-the-job additional training available to you. The sky is the limit.

Your Skills and Qualifications You would be expected to: Read and interpret drawings of various detail. Have the ability to utilise measuring equipment, achieving quality output. Have the ability to operate manual lathes, bores and milling machines. Undertake any given project according to Q.A requirements. Have fitting experience, including hydraulics. Be willing to assist in apprentice training and supervision as required. Be a confident tradesperson with a good understanding of industry requirements. Have an excellent understanding of general machining practices.

Essential: Own transport and hold a current C Class WA driver's license. Permanent Australian Residency. A relevant trade certificate. White card, EWP, Working at Heights. Pass site health and drug tests.
